The Shift Turnover with Excellence (STWE) System is a consistent tool for shift turnovers at the Cape Town Refinery for its 24X7 operations. The 5-step process and behaviors is critical in enabling clear and concise communication of shift status from operator to operator for a good shift turnover. The tool captures key information to facilitate the communication as part of the shift turnover process.
